Funny Face

Light up your face with gladness
Hide every trace of sadness
Although a tear may be ever so near
That's the time you must keep on trying
Smile, what's the use of crying?
You'll find that life is still worthwhile
If you just smile

Sira. He is the man of faces. The physical comedian in the house. Bereket laughs at people falling down, Sira falls down for a laugh. But he can cry over crumbs too. Like the other night during -- now say this monotoned & full-volume -- The Worst Family Barbecue Ever! Cried over ketchup while I cried over the kid crying over ketchup. Or this morning, the whole morning before leaving on the bus . . . crying. (I think I heard it stop the moment I stepped off the bus, just like the bus driver said it would.) So Sira, just smile. Me too.

This will make us smile . . . a montage of Sira's funny faces. Seems lately turning the camera on Sira sparks off expression city. Watch it, you'll feel all warm and fuzzy and wait for those few baby shots near the end. In the words of Shaggy, like wow.

Cindy

Hello my name is Mary and my husband and I just received a referral for triplet baby girls from Ethiopia yesterday!!!!! They are five weeks old now. I googled triplets from Ethiopia and your blog came up. My husband and I have thoroughly enjoyed reading the chronicles of your family. We are incredibly excited and yet scared too. Seeing how beautiful your family is and all the fun times you have had over the years makes us even more excited. I know how busy you must be but I would love to chat with you some time about your experience and possibly get any advice you might have for us. We live in Denver so we are not too far. My email address is mbidegaray@msn.com
Thank you for your time.
Mary

Cindy,
I have a really random question for you! I have been stalking your blog for some time now and love your boys hair! We have a 2 year old from Ethiopia and I was just wondering what product you used for them?

Thank you
Stephanie
