Looks like a lovely trip! I can't believe how grown up the boys look.

So what do you do when one kid runs way ahead and the other is dilly dallying? We're having this issue a lot lately!

Well, if the one kid running ahead is entering unsafe territory I yell my head off: STOP! NOW! Sit Down!! (god I hate yelling in public!)

With my little Dilly Dallier (who is simply a terrible walker and always wants to be carried), I usually have to have one or both kids go get him or I just walk back and pick him up while the other 2 wait (they're usually pretty good about waiting for me and staying put, but not always so good at keeping up). This is what I did that day but of course another and another decided to dilly dally until it was Tsega who was way back there (couldn't leave the mandrils) and I had the other 2 with the tigers. Finally another mother came along and told him he better get up there with mama. I rely on the kindest of stangers a great deal and they usually scare my kids into catching up with me. :)

This is why our zoo is such a great place for a lone mama with triplets. Lots of space that is safe, the boys can run around and make noise as they please, and barely a soul there most days. And they are always ready to leave when it's time (yet by then they are all dilly dallying a storm!). Except it's a looong walk to the nearest bathroom and guess what!!??? Before I could stop them, 2 were yanking down their pants to pee in the grass!!!!! AHHHHHHH!!!!! (That's when you pray nobody's watching and you just keep saying, hurry up hurry up, no no no!!!) :)

My first thought when I saw the pics was how grown up they look. I see Jayme thought the same thing. Kids grow up soooooo fast. Glad there's a zoo nearby for your boys to enjoy.

How in the world did you find a zoo that had NO ONE ELSE visiting!!!????? I want to go there! When we venture to our "local" zoo, I often feel like our family is the main attraction. It's surreal. (And YES, the "you've got your hands full" line....I'm sure we hear it every five steps at the zoo.) We have to travel to your zoo next time. (I'm sure with your three and my five, we would attract even the animals' attention:)

I'd love your zoo. I keep admiring the boys' hair. I love it. Oh, and Tsega IS styling...big time! They are so big now!
